March 2026
First month of spring. A heavy one.
February ended with a cryptic line. March is where I start to understand what it actually means.
The most important thing that happened this month, I still can't talk about it. I heard something for the first time in my life. A tiny sound that made everything else irrelevant.
Alongside it, we celebrated 8 years since me and Mary are together. Tokyo restaurant, sushi and tanmen all the way. Time flies, but in a good way.
March 8th — My cousin, Andrei, died. Fucking stupid cancer. Hope you can write and paint in piece up there!
We spent a full week at my parents. Worked from there, helped with renovation plans, moved old furniture around, and just tried to be present. It worked, mostly. The house feels heavier as the years pass by. I came back with mixed feelings I haven't fully sorted out yet.
On the side — managed to buy spatiudepozitare.ro. I was waiting for it to be available for a while now. No idea yet what I'll do with it, but I know it has potential.
Health was solid this month — 10+ gym sessions, three runs including a 12.5km on a Sunday morning at 2 degrees outside, sauna and cold shower on several occasions. Did a full round of checkups: pneumologist (all good after X-ray), ophthalmologist (all good, return in a year), plus a therapeutic massage.
Tried to sell the car, again — found a potential buyer, drove it out for inspection. He found an oil leak. Deal's off.
By the Numbers
- 1 book read
- 1 new domain bought
- 10+ gym sessions
- 3 runs (~25km total)
- 0 Netflix hours
- 4 social gatherings (padel, coffees, dinners, church)
- 3 medical checkups (all clear)
- 1 week at parents
- 1 sound I'll never forget
Thank you March 2026. You gave a lot and took some too.
